John Cockerill further invests in Cooling by taking over the activities of Hamon Korea

Following the acquisition of the cooling activities of the Hamon Group in Belgium, France and Spain last June (see our previous press release), John Cockerill continues its acquisition strategy by acquiring Hamon Korea.

In perfect adequacy with its ambitions and industrial project, John Cockerill has just acquired the cooling activities of the Hamon Group in the Republic of South Korea.

Just as the acquisition of the ex-Hamon activities in Belgium, France and Spain, this new acquisition covers all the technologies related to Cooling as well as the Hamon brand.

This operation allows John Cockerill to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, a key region for the Group, to take full advantage of synergies between its entities, and to offer a broader range of products.

John Cockerill thus completes its geographical coverage for its cooling tower offering alongside recovery boilers, industrial boilers and air condensers. With this new string to its bow, John Cockerill is reaffirming its commitment to fully enter into decarbonated energy and responsible industry worldwide.
