The re-use of treated water consists of recuperating, storing and re-using waste water, following several treatments destined to eliminate impurities and potentially micro-pollutants, along with viral and microbe elements, with new trends such as ‘zero waste liquid’. This can lead to substantial savings and reduce environmental impact, while preserving this precious natural resource.
The process to be put in place depends on the use which will be made of the treated water, namely:
- for standard applications (floor and equipment cleaning…): mechanical filtration;
- for specific applications: membrane treatment and disinfection.
