The organizers of this year’s World Water Forum selected one of our solutions among more than 300 projects!
The 3 treatment facilities renovated and modernized by John Cockerill Environment as part of the selected project, supply the population of the Vihiga County in Kenya with clean drinking water in a sustainable & reliable manner.
Organized jointly by the World Water Council and the Senegalese government, the 9th edition of the World Water Forum closed its doors a few days ago. This year’s theme was “water security for peace and development”.
The Forum was a great opportunity for our Business Line John Cockerill Water to demonstrate their know-how and technologies allowing to efficiently manage water resources in areas facing water stress. In Africa more than elsewhere, universal access to water and sanitation is essential.
Thus, Alain Desvignes, Head of John Cockerill Water and the two Commercial Directors of the Business Line, Marc Huberty and Philippe Berrozpe shared their firm ambition in these regions with the visitors of the forum: bring our know-how and our skills to provide access to clean drinking water to those who need it most, while promoting operator autonomy.
