Two new CMI boilers in Thailand.

May 19th 2015

On 15th May 2015, CMI Energy was awarded a contract to design and supply two horizontal boilers to be installed in the future electric power plant at Bangpa-In Cogeneration (BIC 2) in Thailand. This contract has been concluded with Thai Shinryo Ltd., for which CMI Energy had already supplied boilers in 2004 for the South Bangkok International Airport (SBIA).

These new CMI dual pressure boilers will be associated with 43 MW aeroderivative LM6000 gas turbines from IHI. These two small HRSGs will be highly prefabricated into two ‘Modular Box’ per boiler, which will enable a particularly rapid erection.
