The 2016 Activity Report is published.
When he located in the Seraing Château in 1817, John Cockerill probably did not realize just what an incredible adventure he was setting in motion.
Today, in 2017, the bicentennial of CMI is based around a triple objective: understand the past, celebrate the present and set out for the future. This bicentennial has inspired the title of the activity report 2016: 200 years of the future.
The CMI Group is setting out on this bicentennial year at its best ever evel. The 2016 results contribute to a healthy cash-flow and a growing shareholders’ equity. Following two years of exceptional order taking, turnover has stabilized at more than 1.2 billion Euros and orders booked are at more than 1.1 billion Euros. As for the operating result, this amounts to 114.1 million Euros, above the historic record of 2015.
