A mobile Multiple Hearth Furnace batch to perform tests at our client’s site with remote assistance of our experts

John Cockerill’s mobile Multiple Hearth Furnace batch furnace number 2 is back from Asia. After having been shipped to China for trial feedstock testing in one of our clients’ facility, our mobile MHF bench is back to Belgium.
After upgrading and conversion to electrical heating mode and testing up to 1000°C, this MHF bench will be dispatched to another client in Belgium to perform thermal conversion of special demolition waste under the supervision of our process experts.
The rental of this mobile MHF batch furnace is a service provided by John Cockerill to help its client validate its new in-house developed waste to product concept. Our clients will be allowed to benefit to perform tests at their own place with remote assistance of our experts.
This compact MHF batch furnace number 2, “single hearth” type, completes John Cockerill’s comprehensive portfolio of pilot testing solutions, among which are the fuel gas fired MHF batch furnace number 1 ; the 6 hearths MHF multiple hearth furnace ; the rabling simulator ; the lab where analyses on solids and gases are conducted.
