Last October CMI Group finalized the acquisition of UDC Meuse SARL (Commercy, France), renamed CMI Services Meuse. This marks the debut in the development of CMI Services within the French territory of Meuse.

CMI Services Meuse is a general machine shop specializing in repair and troubleshooting as well as in the machining of parts (new or repairable). With a staff of ten technicians, it has an annual turnover on the order of half a million Euros. CMI Services Meuse serves very diverse clients, active in the foundry (Manoir Industries), steel (ArcelorMittal, Saint-Gobain PAM…) or chemistry (Air Liquide Welding) industries.

Franck Pasqualini, President of CMI Services: “We are pleased to integrate CMI Services Meuse and its collaborators within our organization. This acquisition is the first step of our development in Meuse. We aim to multiply CMI Services Meuse activities in the short term and to participate actively in the economic life of Meuse. This implies a significant increase in staff, notably through the hosting and training of apprentices and job-seekers.”

Bernard Moretto, Director General of the East France Region of CMI Services: “We wish to develop coverage of our local network in Meuse further strengthening our presence in Lorraine and our access to new markets. With CMI Services Meuse, the Group now has five business units and a staff of 400 specialized technicians active in providing services to Lorraine enterprises.”

Cyrille Sandonato, Co-Manager of CMI Services Meuse: “The entire staff is proud to be joining a key player in the service industry in France. This operation not only will allow us to strengthen our position with our existing customers, but also will allow us to diversify our services into new markets.”
