CMI inaugurates its new facilities at Willebroek (Belgium)

This Tuesday, CMI officially opened its new facility at Willebroek (Antwerp, Belgium). After more than 150 years along the Willebroek Canal, Flemish CMI teams are now located in brand new, energy-efficient premises located not far from their old address. CMI Services Energy North and CMI Industrial Boilers, both Antwerp CMI Business Units, now have 5000 m2 of infrastructure, more than half of which consists of workshops.
The inauguration took place in the presence of the Belgian Federal Minister of Employment, Monica De Coninck and the mayor of Willebroek, Eddy Bevers. Bernard Serin, Chairman Managing Director of CMI reaffirmed its ambition: “It has been 150 years since Mr. Denaeyer laid the foundation of a company with exceptional development that has greatly contributed to the wealth of Willebroek. Today, our investment in these new buildings aims to provide a positive future for our activities in Willebroek based on competence, performance, efficiency and productivity.”
For the record, CMI Industrial Boilers is active in the design and construction of industrial boilers and CMI Services Energy North is a service provider to industries, with a specialization in thermal equipment.
