The Purpose Report explains how, at John Cockerill, we contribute year after year to providing technological solutions to the needs of our time. This determination to make an impact for future generations and the world they will live in has been at the heart of our actions throughout 2025, and therefore at the heart of our Purpose Report.
Why “Audacity under control” ?
For John Cockerill, 2025 was marked first and foremost by its financial performance, with the company reaching the symbolic milestone of 2 billion euros for the first time; John Cockerill’s order entry in 2025 was the highest ever recorded, surpassing the previous record of 1.7 billion euros set in 2024. Revenue stood at 1.6 billion euros, continuing a steady upward trend since 2021.
This audacity is also evident in the large-scale projects and major challenges that our teams tackled in 2025, serving our customers and all of our partners.
There is no shortage of examples of bold achievements, such as the enhanced control over our operations that was achieved in 2025. Plans aimed at sustainably improving the profitability of our core businesses are beginning to bear fruit, as all business units (with the exception of hydrogen) posted positive results in 2025, despite a challenging economic environment and the unique cycles of each business. These positive results reflect the rigor with which we execute our projects and the structural measures we have implemented to ensure profitable growth.
Recent events have demonstrated the relevance of the John Cockerill model and the technological solutions that our teams develop in 28 countries and deploy across every continent. Our Group has thus reached a new milestone in its transformation into a global player with local roots, backed by more than 8,300 talented employees.
