Isabelle Widmer becomes General Manager for John Cockerill Industry in Germany

With a sound experience of over 20 years in the metals industry, Isabelle WIDMER has been named General Manager of John Cockerill’s chemical process technology specialist. Located in Montabaur, near Frankfort, CMI UVK provides tailor-made solutions for the degreasing and pickling of metals & the related total acid regeneration plants (ARP).

The John Cockerill Group is very pleased to announce the hiring of Isabelle WIDMER as General Manager for its German entity, CMI UVK GmbH, effective April 1st, 2021. Isabelle replaced the former General Manager Michael KOTAS, who moves to another senior position in the organization, at the head of our entity in Montabaur.

Isabelle is a French national and speaks both German and English. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering. In the over 20 years of her international career, she has been filling various management functions amongst which the plant management for some of the big players in the Metals industry. Her various assignments have taken her to several European countries including Germany.

The combination of our staff’s strong chemical process technology know how and long experience in the industry, and Isabelle’s proven leadership skills and solid knowledge of the market will be great assets for John Cockerill not only in Europe, but also worldwide.
