First electric recharge for a Renewi waste collection truck at John Cockerill’s MiRIS station

On 21st September 2021 in Seraing, John Cockerill demonstrated the recharging of a RENEWI electric truck via MiRIS, its green energy storage and management station.

This first is a new milestone for both partners, John Cockerill and RENEWI, in favor of the development of green mobility in Wallonia. The operation took place in the presence of Gilles Foret, Liège’s alderman for Ecological Transition, Mobility, Cleanliness and the Digital Economy.
