The 1200 MW Jackson combined cycle power plant (IL, USA) is in operation. John Cockerill can be proud of its teams who designed and supplied 2 HRSGs (heat recovery steam generators) installed behind high efficiency Mitsubishi M501JAC gas turbines.

Our state-of-the-art boilers recover heat from the turbines, contributing decarbonize the Illinois power grid and produce more sustainably. The J-Power Jackson plant will produce 65% less carbon emissions compared to a typical coal-fired power station while producing reliable power for 1.2 million households.
