John Cockerill announces a new Multiple Hearth Furnace order for China
June 11th 2026
John Cockerill has been awarded an order for a Multiple Hearth Furnace, developed in close collaboration with Shanghai based company, LANKE Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.
Let’s go back to 2025! Last year, John Cockerill signed a strategic partnership with LANKE Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese environmental technology company to develop sales and promotion of the MHF for SARU application (Oil & Gas sector), with conversion of petrochemical residues into valuable resources through advanced thermal processing.
This was the beginning of joint efforts to promote and market John Cockerill’s advanced Multiple Hearth Furnace process technologies for complex industrial applications across China.
With over 150 MHFs worldwide, John Cockerill’s NesaCore™ technology is poised to reach the Chinese market through LANKE’s strong EPC capabilities.
This new contract is an achievement of this newborn collaboration and reflects the strong complementarity between LANKE’s local expertise and John Cockerill’s global know‑how.
Together we address some of the most complex industrial challenges and reinforce our long-term commitment to the petrochemical and environmental markets.
A sincere thank you to the LANKE and John Cockerill teams involved for their commitment, agility, and collaboration in making this project possible.
We are excited about the next steps and look forward to delivering meaningful impact on site!
