John Cockerill records India’s largest 140MW Electrolysers order from Greenko for the first Indian Green Ammonia plant

John Cockerill, a leader in alkaline electrolysers for large scale applications, and India’s leading energy transition company Greenko Group today signed an agreement that will see John Cockerill supply of 28 units of 5MW alkaline electrolysers for the development of India’s largest green ammonia plant in Una, Himachal Pradesh, India.

Greenko order builds on existing exclusive partnership with John Cockerill, including joint development of India’s largest electrolyser manufacturing plant (2GW per year). This new joint development reinforces both companies’ commitment to invest behind India’s ambition to become a global green hydrogen hub.
