CMI to supply a second boiler for the electric power plant in Sousse (Tunisia)

CMI Energy has won the contract to supply a vertical Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) for section D of the electric power plant in Sousse (Tunisia). Following the contract won by CMI at the end of 2010 for a first boiler of this type dedicated to Sousse C, Ansaldo Energia and the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) are showing their confidence in CMI Energy once again.
The new CMI boiler will be installed behind an Ansaldo gas turbine. It is identical to that currently being erected at Sousse C (see photo). In time, the Sousse C and D combined cycle power plant will supply electricity to more than two million households, thus contributing to the economic growth of Tunisia.
