CMI Services to provide a Denarad industrial boiler to BASF Antwerpen

BASF Antwerpen has commissioned CMI Services for full installation of a steam generator to increase its steam production. Signed in late January, the contract is for a Denarad vertical industrial water tube boiler and all its accessories (degasser, water pumps, burners, combustion air fans, economizer, stack, controls and instrumentation for the boiler, electrical connections…).
The installation will operate with fuel gas and/or natural gas. Its rate of NOx will be a maximum of 80 mg/Nm3. The entire system weighs 630 tons and reaches 25 meters in height. Implementation of the project will span a period of 23 months, until January of 2015.
This order is supported by CMI Services Energy North (formerly DeNaeyer Stoomketels), the CMI Services Business Unit based in Willebroek (Belgium) and specializing in the construction and maintenance of industrial boilers (Denarad and Denapak).
