CMI refurbishes a pickling line of NLMK La Louvière
October 03rd 2013
NLMK La Louvière chose CMI Group to refurbish a pickling line that was damaged due to fire. Based on its expertise, CMI has proposed an optimal refurbishment combining both repair and replacement of components.
With its complementary teams in engineering (CMI Industry) and in services (CMI Services), CMI will disassemble the installation, repair some of the components, and design and deliver new components for the reassembly and restart of the pickling line. These operations employ CMI’s mechanical, electrical and civil engineering skills with its excellence in project management and its technological knowledge of industrial processes.
In addition to its ability to support the entire refurbishment from the original expertise needed to the final restart, CMI is also distinguished by its ability to complete this project within a period of just eight months: the commitment of the first steel coil is scheduled for mid-April, 2014.
