CMI modernizes the skinpass of Outokumpu Nirosta (Germany)

CMI Industry has received an order by the Finnish steelmaker Outokumpu Nirosta to modernize the skinpass mill at its production site in Krefeld (Germany). Specifically, the operation consists of the design, supply and assembly of a new anti-crimping roll and all necessary adaptations (hydraulics, electrical…).
Startup of the modernized skinpass is scheduled for September 2014. This skinpass upgrade is supported by the German teams of the Metals division of CMI Industry.
