At the close of 2014, CMI Energy won a contract to provide four vertical heat recovery boilers to the American EPC, Black & Veatch. These boilers will equip the Hilli, a Golar company ship, converted to a floating liquefaction unit for natural gas, or FLNG (Floating Liquidified Natural Gas).

This contract is the first maritime application of CMI heat recovery boilers. CMI has also at this time obtained the DNV maritime certification. Other contracts of this type could follow.
