CMI Defence reveals modular turret simulation systems

In addition to its famous Cockerill Weapon Systems range, CMI Defence now offers a new family of high-performance products: modular training and simulation systems. CMI Defence’s new solutions combine three configurations: static systems, embedded turret simulators and mobile simulation systems. Based on the intensive use of COTS solutions, they cost-effectively offer infinitely variable interactive scenarios and advanced post-action reviews and analysis. With this new extension of its portfolio, CMI Defence reinforces its role as a trusted and cost-effective provider of complete capability solutions to the World’s most mobile and effective Armed Forces.

For instance, at Eurosatory 2012, CMI Defence is showing its new training and simulation solutions applied to the Cockerill LCTS90 turret hardware.
To develop its new training and simulation systems – which cost-effectively address all aspects of military simulation – CMI Defence has worked with SILKAN, a Company whose core competencies lie in virtual, constructive and cutting-edge simulation. The developed solutions feature direct connection to real combat hardware, creating embedded simulators for training and mission rehearsal.
