CMI celebrates its bicentenary in Mumbai with the signing of a contract

India - JSW Contract

In the presence of His Majesty King Philip of Belgium, CMI Industry signed a contract with the Indian group JSW Steel for two new galvanizing lines, as part of a state visit to India. These lines will be designed and manufactured in cooperation between the Sector teams in Liège and Mumbai. With 18 million tons of steel, JSW Steel is currently the country’s leading private company in a growing Indian steel sector, and aims to increase its steel production to 40 million tons on the horizon 2025. In view of a growing Indian industry, this contract, amounting to 20 million euros, not only showcases the excellent relationship between CMI and JSW, but also ensures a promising future for CMI in India.
