Bernard Serin elevated to Walloon Officer of Merit

On September 13, Bernard Serin, Chairman and Managing Director of CMI Group, was elevated to the rank of Walloon Officer of Merit. This distinction reflects the recognition of the Walloon authorities “to any person or entity whose talent or merit honors Wallonia in an exceptional measure and contributes significantly to its success.”
At this occasion, the Walloon Government thanked Bernard Serin for his participation in Walloon dynamics since 2002: he wrote the “success story” of CMI, in particular developing employment (+18% in 10 years in the Liège basin, Belgium). He is also involved in many cultural, academic and economic forums, such as the GRE (Group Economic Redeployment Liège), the School of Management at the University of Liège (HEC-ULg) and the Walloon Structural Funds 2007-2013.
