Arc Majeur officially inaugurated

On Wednesday October 23rd, the “Arc Majeur” from the French artist Bernard Venet has been inaugurated in Lavaux-Saint-Anne (Belgium), at km 99 on the E411, one of Europe’s busiest motorways. This has been a long human and technological adventure.
Arc Majeur: art as a challenge to technology
Conceived in 1984 already by the internationally renowned artist Bernar Venet, the work was manufactured in the workshops of the John Cockerill Group’s Welding Expertise Centre (Seraing).
