John Cockerill signs a MoU with the Green Solutions Group to supply electrolysers for the Tra Vinh and Ben Tre green hydrogen and ammonia production projects

John Cockerill and The Green Solutions Group signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the selection of pressurised alkaline electrolysers’ OEM and long-term partner for the Tra Vinh and Ben Tre Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia production projects.

This strategic collaboration aims to develop green hydrogen production in the Mekong Delta region based on alkaline water electrolysis technology, combining John Cockerill’s extensive expertise in hydrogen solutions with the Green Solutions Group’s innovative renewable energy initiatives throughout the region.

John Cockerill and The Green Solutions will thus closely cooperate to implement John Cockerill’s pressurised alkaline electrolyser technology for the Tra Vinh and Ben Tre Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia production projects, and will particularly explore a potential partnership for associated operation and maintenance and training center to strengthen the corresponding hydrogen supply chain.

The MoU was signed by François Michel, CEO of John Cockerill and Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Quyen, Founder and CEO of the Green Solution Group, during Belgium’s State Visit to Viet Nam, and illustrates the partnership in the spirit of sustainability between the two countries.
