The first stacks for the HyOffWind project have left our assembly workshops

John Cockerill was delighted to welcome the mayor of Seraing, Déborah Géradon, for a tour of the workshops where our 100% European electrolysers are produced, including the four designed and manufactured for HyOffWind, Belgium’s first green hydrogen project, led by Virya Energy.

The first two electrolysers have already been delivered to Zeebrugge for installation on the HyOffWind site built with BESIX, and the other two are currently being assembled in our workshops in Seraing.

Congratulations to the teams who developed, industrialized, manufactured, and assembled this 100% European equipment. Our technology will enable the production of 3,700 tons of green hydrogen per year and help avoid the annual emission of 25,000 tons of CO2. Thank you to our partners for making this happen. The first hydrogen molecules will soon be produced on site!
