John Cockerill signs a contract for two new Hamon® cooling towers for the Rabigh II Power Plant in Saudi Arabia

John Cockerill is proud to announce the signing of a major contract with Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects and its partner POWERCHINA for the design and supply of two massive HAMON® cooling towers for the Al Mourjan Rabigh 2 Power Plant Extension in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement was finalized by Wael Hamdy, Vice President of Elsewedy Electric and CEO of the E&C Sector; Hesham Hegazy, CEO of Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects ; and Ibrahim Amin, Vice President of Engineering and Supply Chain at Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects, on one part, and by Thomas Bohner, CEO of John Cockerill Energy on the other part in Cairo, Egypt, on November 25.
This signing ceremony marks a significant milestone in collaboration with one of the leading EPC companies in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa. It reinforces a partnership built on trust, technical strength, and long-term cooperation.
Our advanced HAMON® cooling technology will play a key role in optimizing the power plant efficiency. By enhancing cooling performance, our towers help reduce fuel consumption and minimize environmental impact.
