CMI provides maintenance of wind turbines for REpower Systems
December 14th 2011
At the end of September, CMI Services signed a contract with REpower Systems for the electromechanical maintenance of 54 offshore wind turbines of 5 megawatts and 6 in the North Sea. CMI Services was already in charge of the first 6 machines of the offshore wind farm at Thornton Bank (North Sea).
The new contract is for a period of 12 years, thus extending the benefits of CMI Services to REpower Systems’ entire maritime electricity park. In this context, CMI Services has opened an office in Oostende (Belgium) and is enhancing its response team of about twenty technicians and supervisors.
CMI Services hereby confirms that it has become a recognized player in the maintenance market for wind turbines and, more generally, its action aims to encourage the production of green energy.
