CMI books an evaporating unit for a steam recovery boiler for Indaver
October 18th 2013
CMI Services is currently designing, supplying and installing a new evaporating unit for a steam recovery boiler for Indaver Antwerp (Belgium). Indaver Antwerp is active in the management and treatment of waste from industrial companies and public administrations. The boiler and its evaporation unit recover the energy generated in the incineration process, up to 25.6 MW.
The evaporating unit is a steel assembly of about 92 tons. It measures 11 meters long, by 7 meters wide by 7.5 meters high. CMI Services Energy North ensures its design, assembly and installation. Transportation between the workshop of CMI in Willebroek (Belgium) and the Indaver Antwerp site was organized for the 17th and 18th of October. The evaporation unit will be installed by the end of the year.
This assembly is the first to leave the new CMI workshop in Willebroek. For the record, this facility was officially opened in early October.
