The successful delivery of a Galvatek Chemical Cleaning Line to a Portuguese aeronautical company illustrates John Cockerill Surface Treatment‘s commitment to excellence.
In the demanding world of aerospace engineering, precision and reliability are not just goals, they are imperatives. John Cockerill Surface Treatment’s recent handover of a state-of-the-art Galvatek Chemical Cleaning Line (CCL) to a Portuguese customer is a testament to this commitment.
The CCL is a typical Galvatek product for the aerospace industry, used in cleaning of aerospace jet engine components prior to Fluorescent Penetrant Testing (FPI). This equipment, key part of the engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) process, has been operational for several months, showcasing our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
The project’s scope was comprehensive, encompassing steel structures with service platform, plastic and steel tanks, piping and steam piping for tank heaters, transporter, washing booth with pressure washer, scrubber, electrical cabinet and other electrifications, as well as the complete automation systems.
Designed to clean various aero engine parts before nondestructive testing (NDT), the line delivery was conducted without preassembly, with all installations meticulously carried out on-site, demonstrating our team’s adaptability and technical prowess. This successful implementation was crucial for the customer’s operations.
The positive feedback from our customer and its end customer further solidifies John Cockerill Surface Treatment’s reputation as a leading line supplier in the aerospace industry. This project serves as a shining example of how collaboration, expertise, and a customer-oriented approach lead to great outcomes.
John Cockerill is looking forward to continuing to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence service in the aerospace sector.
